What is VESPR?

VESPR is a mobile wallet app that allows you to manage your Cardano private keys. By doing so, it serves as a wallet for ADA and other tokens native to the Cardano blockchain and enables you to interact with decentralized applications or dApps. VESPR is a non-custodial wallet meaning it keeps no information about you: not your email address, password, Secret Recovery Phrase, or private keys. You retain all power and control over your Cardano native assets.

Founder | Senior Software Architect

Alex Dochioiu, the founder and senior software architect of VESPR Wallet, oversees the project's technical aspects. Drawing on over six years of experience in developing safety-critical mobile applications for major financial institutions, Alex is responsible for the development of the Flutter SDK and its integration into VESPR Wallet. He ensures adherence to industry best practices and navigates any technical challenges we encounter.

Partner | Engineering Manager & Senior Software Engineer

With over a decade of experience in software development, he has transitioned from a hands-on software engineer to a seasoned engineering leader. His journey has equipped him with a strong technical foundation while sharpening his skills as a people manager and leader. Most recently, he held a leadership role at Adobe, one of the world’s top tech companies, where he successfully led multiple teams. At VESPR Wallet, he focuses on building the API that sustains the entire operation, doubling down on security and performance.
